On Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the 131st Annual Communication of Mizpah Grand Chapter, convening in Mobile, Alabama, based on a motion presented by the Board of Trustees, the voting members for Mizpah Grand Chapter, did by majority vote, and approve that members currently enrolled in THE ENDOWMENT AND BURIAL DEPARTMENTS had the opportunity to voluntarily DISENROLL and receive a 60% living benefit made payable by ninety (90) days once proper paperwork had been completed and returned to the Grand Office. Endowment & Burial members with exempt status may voluntarily disenroll and receive the full benefit total. The Voluntary Disenrollment period ends December 31, 2025. Effective January 1, 2026, premiums will be doubled for all members remaining in the Endowment and Burial Departments.
On Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the 122nd Annual Communication of Mizpah Grand Chapter, convening in Birmingham, Alabama, based on a motion presented by the Board of Trustees, the voting delegates for Mizpah Grand Chapter, did by majority vote, approve that as of August 1, 2016 there would be NO NEW ENROLLMENTS INTO THE ENDOWMENT AND BURIAL DEPARTMENTS.
